This piece represents the calm tranquility of a koi fish pond.
Instead of planning what I wanted to paint, or planned on painting, I let my imagination show me what to paint.
There is a grounding feeling that comes over me when I watch koi fish swim. It was only right that I painted koi fish in a piece that came out of a pure flow state.
